(Translation.)
THE Imperial Government are prepared to instruct the Imperial Minister at Peking, in concert with the Ministers of the other Powers interested, to work for the concession for the extension of the line. The Imperial Government believe they are entitled to assume that there is no objection to the immediate completion of the agreement in regard to the Hupeh section of the Szechuan line and the Hunan section of the Canton-Hankow line.
